Texing

Texting has become a big part of many people’s lives. It can benefit many but it can also be a problem to others. While many use it to quickly communicate with others, others use it to procrastinate. People tend to text and forget that they have many other things to do. People seem to get really entertained, especially during class when they are bored. Texting during class can be very distracting, not only for the person texting but for the people around them. Cell phones make noise when they vibrate and that can distract other students. Texting can also be a distraction while driving. Texting and driving is just as bad and dangerous as drinking and driving. People should take it more seriously and put their phone down while they drive. The text can wait, it is not going to go anywhere. Texting is not always a bad thing. Especially when a person’s trying to communicate with someone else and they can’t talk on the phone. Texting can be a quick way to let someone else something within a second. Texting is changing the way we communicate with others. It might be for the better but it also has many problems that can be fixed. It is a personal decision to text and drive or to get off task when you have many other things to do.

  3. It is true that many use it to procastinate, because there has been times where I need to be doing something and instead of doing it right away I check my phone instead, it is a bad habit, and it is a problem when it affects your life.

  6. I like how you state it is a personal decision to text and drive. You can make the decision not to. If decide to text and drive the cops will not give you a choice of jail or not. I enjoyed the read. I also like the end of the artical where you state if your not sure this new form of communication is good or bad.
